Athletics 2018
Last week we had a fantastic day at Lovelock Track for the Year 3-6 Owairaka athletics day. Mrs Mudgeway did an amazing job organising our day (thank you) and all students put 100% effort into all the events. These included shot put, discus, high jump, long jump and really long track runs.
A special shout-out goes to Natalie, Alodia, Tana, Licha, Eli, Olly, Uati and Isaiah who all placed in their races. Well done!
A big thank you to Uati, Natalie, Alodia and Isaiah who made up the Room 8 relay team and came a very close second to Room 23. Great race team!
