We also watched a great play, performed by our own Owairaka School Theatre Group. It was fantastic! I really liked the yodeling goat!

Welcome back to a busy Term 3!
It's been a busy first week in Room 8. We have started reading the book Dawn Raid by Pauline (Vaeluaga) Smith. As we read 13 year old Sofia's diary entries about what happens to her in 1976, we are also learning a lot about the 1970's. Things have changed a lot in 40 years!
We have started taekwondo lessons, where we are learning about respect and having good self discipline. Room 8 is looking forward to our next lesson.
