Kia Orana koe - Greetings to you all.
To start our learning about the Cook Islands we have been using Google maps and Explore to take a closer look at the location of the Islands. We have been zooming in to compare houses, schools and the landscape with NZ. We also used the measurement tool work out how big the islands are.

Did you know that Rarotonga has a perimeter of about 32 kms and an area of about 67 km². 
Hamida came to our class to share her knowledge of Cook Island culture with us. Akameitaki (thank you) from all of Room 8. We had a great time, especially learning the dance moves!
