Today we were very lucky today because we had a visit from Al Brown. He was very interested in our school and our Garden to Table program. He showed some students how to peel broccoli stalks to make them tasty.
We made sushi with vegetables from our garden and omelet made from eggs that our chickens laid. Here are some photos:

Hi Room 17,
ReplyDeleteIt is really cool that you have chickens at your school. Who looks after your chickens? We don't have any chickens at our school, but we do have a cat named Dusky.
We really liked reading about your garden to table program.
