Room 17 is very lucky because we are part of the Garden to Table programme at school. Every second week half of our class spends time in the garden, planting and harvesting. The other half of the class will cook in our hall kitchen with Sarah, our Garden to Table teacher.
This week we made food from the Middle East and Northern Africa.
Menu:
- Warm pumpkin and kumara salad with spinach and chickpeas
- Broad bean houmous (hummus)
- Lavash crackers
Hi Room 17,
ReplyDeleteI liked looking at your photographs. I like gardening too. I have got cabbages, cauliflower and brocolli in my planter troughs at home. What kind of plants do you have? and What are you going to plant next in the garden.
Keep up the great gardening,
From,
Miss Paton
