On Monday Room 8 went to visit the Te Tuhi Art Gallery. It is one of New Zealand's foremost contemporary art spaces and a leader in experimental practice.
We spent time learning about some artists who use negative space and NZ icons to create their art. We then used these works as inspiration for our own creations. A big thanks to Bree, our art teacher, who taught us some new etching skills.
Kia ora Room 8, great photos of your Te Tuhi trip! Do you have any etching tips for other students?
