Today in Room 6 we worked on what makes a quality blog post. Thank you Poppy for letting us use your work as an example of a smart learners blog post.
Hello bloggers. Today I have been working with Kezia to learn about what makes a quality blog post. We used a blog post traffic light rubric to judge this. I found judging the impact part of a post hard but using the rubric and talking with my learning buddies helped. Do you agree with our ideas? My next step is to use this rubric when I am posting on my blog.
From now on when I post on my blog I will remember these top tips. I will share what I enjoyed or found really difficult. I will also include what I think my next steps are and what I might do differently next time.
I really like the idea of the traffic light rubric! I wonder what students think is the most important component - is it Learning, Impact, Punctuation or Layout? Or are they all equally important?
ReplyDeleteKa pai Jo. I'm glad you found the rubric useful. I also find the impact section the hardest to explain. Over the holidays I created these resources for more experiences bloggers. Boost your blog posts.
