We had a fun-filled Athletics Day at Lovelock Track yesterday. It was slightly overcast and windy so we didn't melt in the hot sun like last year. Phew!
Room 8 competed in many different events like discus, shot put, high jump, long jump and running races, always showing manaakitanga. Well done us!
Big thank you to Lila, Kylah, Jarvis, Jake and Felix (our backup runner) who put 100% effort when running for our class relay team. It was a close race for 3rd but Room 7 just won.
A big thank you to all the teachers and parents who helped out yesterday, especially Maria. We all had an amazing day and slept really well last night!
Kia ora Room 8, you can all be super proud of your efforts at athletics. Yes, a big thanks to our adult helpers.
