My Hero
A person who is my hero is Jane Goodall.
This person is my hero because she has spent her life dedicated to the conservation of chimpanzees and making sure that the world understands how important it is to save their habitat.
One thing the person does that I admire is that she still travels the world at 85 years old to share her knowledge about how to care for endangered animals.
One way I can be more like my hero is by reading more about the work Conversation Warriors are doing around the world and share this with Room 8.
Are you a hero? Write a few sentences telling about something that you did that you think was heroic.
I am always looking out for insects because I know how important they are for keeping our gardens healthy and producing food. When I see a worm or a bee, for example, and it is in danger, I will carefully move it into a nearby garden or to a place where it will be safe.
Room 8 has been writing about our heroes. Here is our shared writing example.
