Super Stardome, a trip to remember!

Friday the 17th May was an exciting day for Room 8. We went on a trip to Stardome to continue learning about the Solar System.

We had a workshop with Josh where we learnt more about the sun, our planets and what is a black hole. We learnt that scientists don't really know what is inside a black hole yet. Another interesting fact is that Saturns moon called Titan has an atmosphere like Earth, but its rains acid instead. Ouch!

We then had a look around at the exhibits about space travel. They were very informative.

After that, we went into the planetarium to watch an animation about our Solar System. All too soon it was time to go back to school. Room 8 recommends that you should go to your local planetarium as we had a great time.

    Thanks for sharing your learning.
    Blog ya later.
