Two examples of our pepeha

This week we have been writing our own personal pepeha. Here is May's and Benji's.

No Auckland, New Zealand ahau (my place/place from)
Ko Owairaka te kura (school)
Ko Lote toku mama (mother)
Ko Ina toku papa (father)
Ko Selina toku teina
(younger sister of female/younger brother of male)
Ko Albert and Jeremiah toku tungane (a sister’s brother)
Ko May taku ingoa (my first name)
