Here are two short videos showing our favourite investigations from science week.

Here we are testing Sir Issac Newton's First Law of Motion. Newton said that a still object such as the golf balls, will stay still unless a force pushes or pulls it. A moving object will stay moving unless a force pushes or pulls it. Once you hit the placemat, the support for the eggs disappears and then gravity pushes the golf balls downwards. They only stop because they hit the water, otherwise, according to Newton's First Law they would keep moving. 

We also looked at what happen when we dissolve different substances.
